2" WYSIWYG and fully aquacultured by WWC! This strain of Echinata has been growing out in our aquaculture facility for quite some time. As it grows out the many different colors swirl out in all directions! Brilliant! Echinata are slow growing corals so be patient with this one as it encrusts outwards. While it doesn't have lengthy sweeper tentacles like other corals, it is fairly aggresive and will send out mesentarial fillaments to attack any coral that encroaches too close to it so give it some space to grow out in the lower half of your reef tank. Echinata have very similar feeding and light requirements to Aussie lords and in general prefer minimal lighting at around 150 par and low to medium alternating flow. I would also recommend target feeding a very small amount once a week with a good quality meaty frozen food, but just make sure their feeding tentacles are out, as it not it will roll right off the coral and end up somewhere you usually don't want it (like under your rock structure, where it will rot and possibly mess up your water parameters).

Vic’s Picks features the sweetest, and absolute healthiest corals from our 30,000 gallon farm. Vic, one of the founders of WWC, has an eye for corals and he is known throughout the industry for his ability to find and farm gorgeous corals. Vic personally and carefully hand picks all the corals for this collection.
