A true classic in the reef keeping hobby, the Forest Fire Digitata Montipora has been and remains to be a favorite coral of pretty much reefer for over 20 years. The glowing cherry red polyps and green base with sky blue tips to their long snaking branches makes for a coral that every reefer should have the pleasure of growing out at least once during their reefing adventure! This Monti will do best at around mid way or lower with par around 175 par and medium alternating flow for best growth and coloration. Now if you'd really like to speed up their growth rate, target feed them by squirting a small amount of excellent quality SPS frozen food once a week via a small syringe. Best results will be found when you place your recirculation pumps on feeding mode so that the polyps can "catch" the small particles of food floating by.
