Peppermint Shrimp are best known for their ability to manage nuisance Aiptasia, or glass anemones. Peppermint Shrimp are better at managing aiptasia while others may not be interested in aiptasia at all. They are typically peaceful and do not disturb other tank mates unless they feel threaten. They are mostly scavengers and will look for uneaten meaty foods to feed on. They cannot handle copper or high levels of nitrate in a aquarium, and require correct iodine levels in order to ensure proper molting.
