Originally acquired from a local aquaculture company here in Orlando over 12 years ago. Vic noticed a speck of green in the middle of a huge red cap, he then cut away 95% of the red and made sure the neon green was on the edge of the fragment. Now that the green was free to grow outward, the graft spread and the rest is history! This plating Monti will do best at around lower in your reef with par around 125 par and medium alternating flow for best growth and coloration. Technically plating Montipora do not need to be fed as they will grow plenty fast once acclimated to your reef.
