Sexy Shrimp

The Sexy Shrimp is a popular choice for saltwater aquarium enthusiasts and is known for its unique, attention-grabbing sexy swagger. When it moves, this shrimp does a distinctive dance, swaying its abdomen from side to side. It’s not just about looks though; this shrimp is small, robust, and easy to care for. Sporting a reddish-brown body with stark white spots, it adds a punch of color to any tank setup.

Sexy Shrimp are teeny tiny at only 1/4" to 3/4" tall, they are perfect for pico and nano style *saltwater aquariums, the Sexy Shrimp grows to about half an inch in length. It's a versatile species, comfortable in various environments but particularly fond of anemones like Carpet, and Bubble Tip. They can also coexist with LPS corals and zoanthids. When setting up your tank, consider adding some of these to provide a natural, comfortable habitat for the Sexy Shrimps.

This shrimp isn’t just a fun little dancer to watch; it's a practical addition to your tank. The Sexy Shrimp scavenges for food, helping keep the tank clean. You can also feed Sexy Shrimp small, sinking foods suitable for fish to ensure they stay healthy. If underfed, they might nibble on anemones or corals, which generally doesn’t harm but can cause irritation. 

Sexy Shrimp are often found living in little groups and can be kept together in a small space for a more dynamic tank environment. Remember, they’re hardy but don't tolerate high nitrate or copper levels, so regular water checks are a must.
