Feather Duster

Feather Dusters are a very attractive invertebrate that makes a great addition to most reef tanks. Feather Dusters are filter feeders that will filter floating organisms in your tank. If they are disturbed they can quickly retract into their tube to protect themselves, if they feel severely threaten they can discard their crown and grow it back later. Feather dusters prefer a well-established reef tank with some type of rubble or substrate that they can borrow into/or incorporate its tube. They cannot handle copper or high nitrate levels in an aquarium.
