Description
The AvidAqua Stingray is a magnetic frag rack that holds 12 coral frag plugs securely on aquarium glass up to 1/2" (13 mm) thick. Its patent-pending Slide-Loc system locks each frag plug in place, so snails, fish and flow can't knock your frags loose — even with the rack tilted or mounted upside down. Unlike cheap frag racks with glued acrylic magnet boxes that leak and rust, the Stingray mounts with AvidAqua's ModMag: ultrasonically double-sealed ABS magnets that stay reef-safe for years, backed by a lifetime magnet warranty. A 30-degree angle adapter is included to tilt frags toward the light, and the dual-color surface has a white side that reflects light up into branching corals like Acropora for better coverage and growth. Need more room? Add the Stingray NextLevel (sold separately) and the Stingray expands from 12 to 36 frags. World Wide Corals carries the full AvidAqua line — frag racks, InSight Apex displays, ModMag mounts, organizers and Traveler frag cases.
Why frag growers like it
- Slide-Loc holds plugs firmly — no more frags on the sandbed after a snail walks through
- ModMag sealed magnets: no glued seams, no leaks, no rust, lifetime magnet warranty
- Holds on glass up to 1/2" (13 mm); anti-slip Glass-Gripper silicone cover keeps the rack from rotating
- 30-degree adapter included — angle the rack so back-row frags get real light
- Expandable 12 → 36 frags with the NextLevel add-on, and works with other ModMag accessories
- White reflective surface helps branching corals like Acropora light evenly
Growing past 12 frags?
Start with the Stingray and add NextLevel tiers as you grow, or step up to the Manta Ray Frag Rack — same Slide-Loc and ModMag system in a larger format.
