The Reef Octopus Elite 200-S is the flagship of compact, high-capacity filtration. Designed for large reef systems up to 400 gallons, this "Space Saver" model integrates the powerful VarioS-4S DC controllable pump directly inside the 8-inch reaction chamber. This engineering feat allows you to run a massive 8-inch skimmer in sump compartments that would normally only accommodate much smaller units.
The Elite 200-S is defined by its Super Cone body. Unlike standard cylindrical designs, the Super Cone tapers naturally to stabilize the foam column as it rises toward the neck. This reduces internal turbulence, leading to a much higher concentration of organic waste and a cleaner "dry" skimmate. With the added intelligence of the VarioS controller—featuring a safety float switch and 0-10V integration—the Elite 200-S offers the perfect combination of commercial processing power and residential-friendly dimensions.
