The Reef Octopus Water Blaster 12500 (SKU: HY-12500W) is a commercial-capacity recirculation and return pump in the legendary Water Blaster lineup. Designed to push massive volumes of water across extensive distances or extreme static head heights, it is powered by high-torque rare-earth Neodymium magnets. The Water Blaster series generates significantly higher magnetic energy than traditional ferrite pumps while producing minimal heat transfer into your aquarium water column. Whether used as a master sump return on large multi-tank displays, a commercial closed-loop circulation driver, or a high-capacity supply pump for large UV sterilizers and multi-stage manifolds, the HY-12500W delivers quiet, dependable performance.
At the heart of the HY-12500W is an intelligent Digital Circuit Control Board. Unlike standard AC pumps that randomly clatter backwards upon power-up, this smart circuit monitors rotor orientation to guarantee smooth, forward startup every time.
