The Reef Octopus Water Blaster 2000 (SKU: HY-2000W) is a professional-grade recirculation and return pump designed to push water with exceptional energy efficiency. Powered by rare-earth Neodymium magnets, the Water Blaster series generates significantly higher magnetic torque than traditional ferrite pumps while producing minimal heat transfer into your aquarium water column. At the heart of the HY-2000W is an intelligent Digital Circuit Control Board. Unlike standard AC pumps that randomly clatter backwards upon power-up, this smart circuit monitors rotor orientation to guarantee smooth, forward startup every time. Additionally, if the pump detects an obstruction—such as a stray snail or heavy debris jammed in the volute—the circuit automatically cuts power to prevent the motor block from overheating or burning out.
Calcium-Resistant Engineering
