Thin-film composite (TFC) reverse osmosis membranes rely fundamentally on physical water pressure to force pure molecules through micro-pores while pushing dissolved solids out the waste line. When residential tap lines deliver sub-optimal pressure (frequently dipping below 40 PSI due to well water setups or high-altitude piping), the RO system stalls. This results in slow water production, excess waste water, and high total dissolved solids (TDS) leaching into your final deionization filter. The IceCap IC-ROBPK resolves these issues by artificially boosting local pressure up to ideal operational thresholds.

At the core of this all-in-one kit is a heavy-duty, whisper-quiet 24V Performance Booster Motor managed by an automated dual-switch safety network. The system features a built-in Low-Pressure Switch that monitors supply lines coming from your sediment filters, ensuring the pump safely turns off if your tap water source is disconnected. On the opposite side of the filtration arc, an integrated High-Pressure Switch monitors the output line. When your reservoir tank fills and triggers a float valve, the high-pressure switch immediately senses the line restriction and kills power to the pump to prevent leaks or line bursts.
