The Reef Octopus KS250 Nilson Kalk Reactor is a heavy-duty solution for automating the supplementation of calcium and alkalinity in large-scale reef aquaria. Designed for systems up to 320 gallons, this reactor utilizes a high-torque, low-RPM motor to gently mix calcium hydroxide (Kalkwasser). This motorized stirring ensures the solution remains at maximum saturation while minimizing exposure to air, which can neutralize the effectiveness of the Kalkwasser through carbonation.
