Mushroom Coral make ideal corals for beginners. They are some of the easiest corals to care for, they are extremely hardy, and there are a massive variety of color morphs. Mushroom corals prefer low to moderate lighting and low to moderate flow. Too much of either of these will result in bleaching or damage to your coral.

Mushroom coral are not aggressive, but they are extremely fast growers. They can overtake an area and smother other corals. Be sure to give them plenty of space to grow or put them on a separate rock structure.
